Our founder - Bert Scott
Scott Tackle was founded in 1952 by Bert Scott, a renowned river angler well known for catching roach using malt as bait.
With best friend Bob Monks, Bert co-founded the Portcullis Angling Association which became one of the best known clubs in the area before joining Amalgamated Fisheries Ltd.

When Bert retired in 1975, Scott Tackle was taken over by two of the shop's most loyal employees, Richard Croker and Peter Kent.
Carrying on a great tradition of providing top quality fishing tackle and plenty of good advice, in 2009 Richard and Pete decided it was time to move on.
